Opening Dates & Times We are now closed for winter.We will re-open for the season in the grounds, playgrounds and lakeside walk from 29th March 2024 until 31st of October 2024, 10 am to 4.30 pm.The house will re-pen from 10th April on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons (also Sundays in August) 1.30 pm till 4.30 pm, with last entries at 4 pm, until the end of October 2023. We look forward to welcoming our visitors back. No advance booking neededPlease purchase tickets at The Old Sawmill Tearoom across the road. Parking and toilets for Mirehouse and Gardens are at Dodd Wood Pay on Exit car park across the road from our entrance.The grounds at Mirehouse are certainly dog friendly. Dogs are welcome in the grounds (though not in the playgrounds) on a short lead at all times. As the walks pass through farmland, please give farm animals plenty of space to not feel intimidated.
